Our Second Annual Java and Jazz Event!

If you like smooth jazz music, enjoying savory hors d’oeuvres and tasty treats, and sipping on coffee and tea, you will want to mark your calendar for the Goshen Farm Preservation Society’s Second Annual Java and Jazz Event, a fundraiser to benefit the restoration and preservation of Goshen Farm. The event will be held on Sunday, March 25, 2012, from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church, 1601 Pleasant Plains Road, Annapolis, MD 21409.

Annual Java and Jazz

Barbara Morgan, President of the GFPS, remarked, “Goshen Farm is a community treasure.  The Society has been working since 2007 to preserve the property for future generations.  We invite our friends and neighbors to come share a Sunday afternoon with us and learn more about the property and our efforts to save it.”

The Society holds several fundraisers each year, including Java and Jazz.  This Sunday afternoon event features jazz music provided by The Jazz Perpetrators, a group of talented local musicians who perform regularly in downtown Annapolis and at other venues in the central Maryland area.  The tantalizing menu of hors d’oeuvres and sweets is provided by Rocca Culinary Services, owned by Beth Rocca, a local chef and caterer.  Guests will be able to learn more about history of the property and the restoration plans, catch up on the Society’s efforts, and find out how they can become a part of preserving local history.
