Spring Open House a Success Despite Weather

On the morning of April 13, 2019, volunteers gathered under cloudy skies and a light drizzle to set up the Spring Open House. The weather forecast was for clearing skies by late morning. Yeah, like you want to take that to the bank! Since the Fall Open House was cancelled last year due to inclement weather, event chair, Rose Mary Stocker, and her band of volunteers decided to bite the bullet and proceed with set up. What a good decision! The skies did clear and about 300 friends and neighbors showed up to enjoy the Birds of Prey exhibit and the tours of various parts of Goshen Farm. Thank you all who braved the threat of the weather and we hope to see you all at the Fall Open House on September 14, 2019. Stay in touch for details on our website and follow us on Face Book.
