Hello Fellow Goshen Enthusiasts,
With the help of my trusty helper, this fellow finally completed the Goshen Farm House side porch ceiling today. I purchased the wood last week and cut it to the rough sizes, then I stained it last Monday. I returned last Tuesday to install the ceiling but with 20 degree weather, the stained wood refused to dry. On Wednesday, the same story. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday even with a circulating fan, the stain refused to dry on the boards. Today, the ceiling wood was going up no matter what. And with my trusty, faithful helper, we completed the Goshen Farm House side porch ceiling. I think it looks better then exposed rafters! I hope you agree…
