A Place to Gather. A Legacy to Inspire.
Help us build the E. Joseph Lamp Community Pavilion at Historic Goshen Farm.

Help Build a Lasting Gathering Place
Imagine a place at Goshen Farm where students discover local history, neighbors gather for concerts under the open sky, and our community comes together to celebrate all that makes this place special. That’s the vision behind the E. Joseph Lamp Community Pavilion.
This covered outdoor space will give our programs a permanent home, a welcoming place for educational programs, field trips, historical presentations, cultural performances, and the everyday moments that bring us together. For more than 360 years, this land has told the story of our community. Now, on our 23 acres of open green space, we have the chance to build something lasting for generations to come.
Honoring E. Joseph Lamp, PhD
The pavilion is named in honor of E. Joseph Lamp, PhD, a devoted educator whose life reflected the very values at the heart of Goshen Farm. Joe believed in hard work, perseverance, and never giving up, and he had a tender heart for the underdog and the “little guy.” He loved the land and its animals deeply, and he carried a lifelong devotion to education and to doing what was right.
Joe’s connection to Goshen Farm was personal and lifelong. As a young man, he worked on this farm and came to know the Radoff family, its last private owners. Years later, he returned as a volunteer, drawn back to care for a place that had stayed close to his heart all his life. This land meant something to Joe, and his spirit is woven into its story.
While the pavilion is named in Joe’s honor, its purpose belongs to Goshen Farm and the entire community. It will stand as a shared legacy and a gathering place where new memories are made, for generations to come.
The Goshen Farm Pavilion: We’re Almost There
This project has been made possible by the generosity of the Lamp family and other supporters. Now we’re asking our community to help bring it across the finish line.
