Celebrating the Season and Looking Forward: Goshen Farm’s Year-End Update
As we approach the end of another year, the Goshen Farm Preservation Society (GFPS) is filled with gratitude and excitement. It’s the season of giving and reflection, and we want to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt appreciation to our members, neighbors, community, and business friends who have been the pillars of support for Goshen Farm. In this blog post, we’ll recap some of the key events and developments that have unfolded over the past few months and share our aspirations for the future. Happy holidays to you and your family, and best wishes for the New Year. Read on for our year-end update!
Harvest Pasta Dinner: A Warm Community Gathering
In October, we hosted our Annual Harvest Pasta Dinner, and we were overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from our community. Despite the rainy and chilly weather, our event saw a fantastic turnout. We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who attended. We would also like to express our gratitude to the Irish Restaurant Company for their generous donations and to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church for providing us with the perfect venue. The success of this event truly highlights the strength and unity of our community.
End Of Year Giving: Your Generosity at Work
GFPS has made significant progress towards our goal, reaching approximately $49,000 out of our $60,000 target. We want to extend a sincere thank you to all of you who have contributed. As the year draws to a close, we encourage you to consider the Goshen Farm Preservation Society for your end-of-year charitable donations. GFPS is a registered 501(c)(3) organization, making your donations tax-deductible. All Matching Grant donations go towards stabilizing the Farm House foundation, paving the way for much-needed interior renovations. You can donate online or by sending a check payable to GFPS to 1223 River Bay Road, Annapolis, MD 21409. (Note: Please don’t forget to indicate “Matching Grant” on the check.)
Membership Renewal Letters: Be Part of Our Journey
Annual membership renewal letters have been sent out, and we hope you will consider renewing yours. A Household Membership is $35, and an Individual Membership is $20. You have the option to renew by mail, online, or by contacting our Membership Chair at [email protected].
